Whatever your politics, every American should be supporting the troops who are currently fight for this country. Since we have a VOLUNTEER
military, it means that these brave souls signed up of their own free will. Nobody was drafted. This means that the rest of us can
live day by day while they put their lives on the line.
In 2008, New York and New Jersey has seen the largest troop deployment since World War
II. There is an organization that sends care packages to the troops called American Recreational Military Services.
American Recreational
Military Services (A.R.M.S.) was founded in 2003 by a group of grass roots volunteers who wanted to give something back to the military
and their families.
A.R.M.S.' goal for this year is to provide a care package for every tri-state area service member.
How can you help? A.R.M.S.
needs monetary donations. For donation information, check this link out. They have a paypal account.
Anything you can spare will go
towards sending care packages to the troops.
